THEMELIA provides practical support to help non-profit organizations and volunteer initiatives to maximize their impact.
THEMELIA’s consultancy work with NGOs is conducted through a series of one to one sessions aimed at enhancing an organization’s overall capacity. As no two organizations are alike, this is a tailor made approach that is highly effective in helping organizations to reach their own goals and fulfill their potential. The sessions cover all areas pertaining to an organization’s work and focus on solving problems, identifying paths for development, and lending support in practical ways. They are usually held with the leadership/decision-makers of the organization.
The philosophy behind our workshops is to provide practical support to NGOs to help them maximize their potential by drawing on the skills of private, non-profit and academic sector professionals.
Each training workshop has a practical teaching element that is followed by a lively discussion focused on real problem-solving and best-practice sharing. Anyone working for an organization or interested in starting one is welcome to join our workshops. Training workshops are available on a wide range of topics. To find out more click here.

Assessment & Feedback
THEMELIA provides tailored advice and feedback to organizations regarding their project plans, fundraising applications and other important documentation.
THEMELIA acts as a facilitator to promote cooperation among NGOs. Apart from identifying opportunities for collaboration between specific organizations in our NGO empowerment consultancy sessions we organize wider networking activities that are usually aimed at yielding results around specific topics.
THEMELIA places great emphasis on sharing knowledge and resources as a way to maximize the potential of organizations. To this end it has launched a Resource Library for organizations interested in improving their impact. The portal is regularly updated to provide free access to a wealth of information and practical resources useful to NGO board members, employees, volunteers and those who want to become engaged in civil society.
